The students and staff at Glen Street learn about the 10 character traits identified by the Durham District School Board.  Books, audio visual resources, and our main bulletin board across from the office are all available to staff and students based on each month's character trait. 

Monthly assemblies help everyone understand the meaning of and how to demonstrate a particular trait.  These assemblies also provide us an opportunity to celebrate students who have been "caught" demonstrating these character traits with their peers.  Parents, guardians, and family members are welcome to join us for these celebrations (please sign in at the main office upon arrival).  The assemblies will be held during the last week of each month; specifics dates and times will be posted here as they are established throughout the year.
