Registration

Welcome to the Glen Street Community!  If you move into our boundary area, then you can apply to register your students at our school.  Please bring with you to the school office the following documents:

  • proof of residency
  • birth certificate
  • immunization record
  • registration form A (if transferring from another Durham District School Board school)
  • registration form B (if transferring from a school outside of the Durham District School Board)

If you have a child who will be 4 on or before December 31 of the current year, you can apply to register him or her for Kindergarten.  The Kindergarten registration process begins in January each year.

  • January - parents call the school to notify us that you have a child that wishes to attend Kindergarten here.
  • April - parents will be contacted to come into the school with appropriate documentation.
  • April, May, and June - Kindergarten orientation sessions (3) to help students and their parents make a smooth transition to school.
  • September - Kindergarten program begins for students who will be 4 years of age on or before December 31 of that calendar year.
